Located north of Seney alongside Iowa Highway 60, this small steel stringer bridge crosses an unnamed creek.
Built in 1916, the bridge consists of a single steel stringer span, set onto concrete substructures. The beams are arranged in two sets of three, for six total beams. In addition, the bridge appears to have little modifications since it was first built.
In addition, the bridge is listed as a deck girder, despite having more features of a steel stringer bridge.
It is likely that this bridge was built to replace an older trestle. This type of bridge is common along this route for crossing small streams.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with little notable serious deterioration. Despite this, cosmetic spalling has begun on the abutments.
The author has ranked the bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common design.
